Bio:
Chett Miller is a higher education professional and organizational leader with more than a decade of experience in leadership development, risk management, emergency preparedness, and student affairs at UCLA. He specializes in designing training and professional development programs, facilitating difficult conversations, and supporting institutional responses to complex and high-emotion situations through communication, collaboration, and de-escalation strategies. Chett also serves as a facilitator for bridge-building and communication workshops, helping individuals and groups navigate challenging conversations, strengthen dialogue skills, and foster healthier and more engaged communities.
Dialogue Experience/Expertise:
Chett Miller is a facilitator with extensive experience supporting dialogue, bridge-building, and communication initiatives within complex campus environments. Through his work at UCLA, he regularly engages with individuals and groups exercising their First Amendment rights, helping navigate challenging situations involving protest, public expression, and competing community needs through communication, de-escalation, and education. Chett also facilitates bridge-building and communication workshops informed by Resetting the Table and Crucial Conversations frameworks, helping individuals and groups engage across differences, navigate difficult conversations, and foster healthier, more connected communities.
