Bio:
Haley Sparks is the UCLA External Affairs Director of Community and Organizational Development. Her work focuses on advancing inclusive practices, organizational well-being, and community-centered leadership across institutional and civic spaces. Drawing on her background in mental health, coaching, and applied research, she supports individuals and teams in aligning purpose, care, and sustainable impact in their work while fostering cultures rooted in connection, joy, and collective flourishing.
Dialogue Experience/Expertise:
She focuses on skills of human engagement (e.g., curiosity) to help facilitate dialogue and healthy communication across difference. She facilitates trainings for dialogue across differences and “emotional fitness” (focusing on skills of human engagement, such as empathy, curiosity, and care). Psychology PhD specializing in dialogue, personality psychology, emotional fitness, and equity, diversity and inclusion.
