Bio:
Katrina DeBonis, MD, is the Vice Chair of Education and an Associate Health Sciences Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences. Dr. DeBonis earned her undergraduate degree at MIT in Brain and Cognitive Science, her MD from NYU School of Medicine, completed internship training at Harbor-UCLA, and finished her psychiatry residency at UCLA. Since joining the faculty at UCLA in 2011, she has held key leadership roles in medical student and resident education. She supervises residents at UCLA and the West Los Angeles VA in Women’s Mental Health, Mood Disorders, and College Mental Health. Her scholarly interests include innovations in medical education, physician wellness, and psychedelic-assisted therapy.
