Faculty and instructors (some who are student-facing staff) engage with strategies to facilitate unpracticed conversations about racism, gender identity, culture, and other topics that can feel challenging to navigate in the classroom. They also learn strategies and language to navigate strong opposing views or misinformation in a teaching environment, such as the classroom setting. A major emphasis in this initiative is creating a brave space to practice facilitation strategies and language with colleagues. The goal is to normalize challenges and build habits of how to engage with these challenges.
