Dr. Tiffani Garnett’s work bridges intergroup dialogue, student affairs leadership, and campus well-being systems. Across a career spanning more than 20 years at UCLA, Dr. Garnett has led and launched numerous campus-wide initiatives and programs. She served as the founding director of UCLA’s Intergroup Relations program, where she designed and led multimodal dialogic approaches that expanded the program’s portfolio to include academic courses, dialogue programs, professional development trainings, cross-sector symposia, and key campus partnerships—efforts that addressed emerging campus climate issues, strengthened intergroup understanding, and inclusive excellence.
Additionally, Dr. Garnett has advanced campus well-being through leadership roles within UCLA Student Health Education and Promotion and the UCLA Bruin Resource Center, leading strategic initiatives aligned across units to promote student well-being, belonging, engagement, and equity. Her leadership also includes establishing key institutional partnerships, such as with the Semel Healthy Campus Initiative Center.
